  6. Our upcoming meet this Saturday, SEPTEMBER 12th, is at Kaaawa. It is located right next to Kualoa Ranch where our Iolani Invitational will be held the following Saturday.

Here are the driving directions to get to Kaaawa:

Ka’a’awa Valley (Directions from ‘Iolani) Take H-1 West to the Likelike Hwy, Route #63 exit. Go up Likelike Hwy and through the Wilson Tunnel. Descend towards Kaneohe and exit onto Kahekili Hwy, Route #83, heading north. Continue along Kahekili Hwy - note that the road becomes Kamehameha Hwy as you pass the “Hygienic Store" in Kahalu`u. Go past Chinaman's Hat (Mokoli`i Island) and Kualoa Ranch. About 1 mile past Kualoa Ranch as the road curves left, take a left onto a dirt road and go through the metal gate leading you into the next valley from Kualoa. There should be a person or a sign directing you into the valley.

Ka’a’awa Valley (Directions from Aiea/Pearl Harbor Area) Get onto H-3. After going through the tunnels, take first exit, (9) (Kaneohe) – Likelike Hwy 63 North. Next, take 83W Kahekili Hwy (Laie, North Shore). Once on Kahekili Hwy, follow directions above.

    Bus info to be advised.

After the Kaaawa Meet, the boys' coach, Coach Rubasch, will be heading over to the Kualoa Site to help prepare the course for the Iolani XC Invitational. If you are available to help with chopping back bushes and grass and bringing any of the following: rake, wheelbarrow, gas-powered weed whacker, loppying shears, machetes (for those who have the expertise), shovels, would be greatly appreciated. The more the merrier!!!!!!
